According to Geological survey of India(GSI) Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Have Lithium Deposits of 5.9 million tones in Salal- Haimana area of Reasi District of J&K(Union Territory).Lithium, known as white gold, this is the first alkalis in periodic table. Lithium is very light solid metal. It is extracted from brines and mined rocks. best feature of Lithium is it is a lowest density metal.
